Whether performing with his own blues/folk/rock band, running sound at local
concerts, or producing CD's for area musicians at his studio Aartvark Productions, "Michigan Mark"
DePree is one of the best-loved figures on the Grand Rapids music scene. It has been my pleasure to perform with
him at a number of his live shows, as well as to contribute drum tracks on several of his CD's.

repertoire. The first song, Live & Love Again, is a slow blues tune from Mark's latest CD, and it's
the same song you're listening to right now. The second tune is the title track from one of Mark's previous CD's, Mystic
Moon. As for the third tune, Stoney, John Sinkevics in his column for the Grand Rapids Press characterized it
as "...a rockin little ditty that thunders along with a big assist from drummer Eddie Eicher." Hey, thanks
